Advanced Vocal Performance and Audition Technique Class with Marc Tumminelli – 4 Week Ongoing Class for students ages 13-19.

In this 4-week class, students will kick things off by working with Broadway Workshop’s Marc Tumminelli to strengthen their audition “book” and will receive personalized song suggestions to expand their repertoire. From there, each week builds on the last and students will learn practical tips to help them stretch in new directions. Along the way, they’ll focus on vocal health and technique, plus receive performance coaching from a Broadway guest artist.

Throughout the program, students are guided by some of the industry’s most respected professionals: a vocal health coach, a Broadway artist, a Casting Director, and Marc himself. Each brings a unique perspective, ensuring that students not only improve their vocal performance but also build confidence, receive personalized feedback, and gain real insight into how to truly master auditions. By the end of the four weeks, they’ll show measurable growth—not just stronger singing, but a deeper understanding of the audition process and the tools to succeed.

The class culminates in a final session with a top New York Casting Director, where students take part in a mock audition and then join an interactive Q&A on the business, audition best practices (both online and in-person), and resources to move their training forward.

Students will need sheet music for at least 2-3 musical theater or pop/rock audition song in the correct key for this workshop. Students should bring material that is age-appropriate, that they enjoy performing, and that they hope to be using for auditions. Additional suggestions will be made after the first session.

Open to a maximum of 12 students. This is an advance level class. Students registering for this program should be prepared for honest feedback and as well as professional level coaching from our guest teachers.
