Broadway Workshop

Train with Broadway’s brightest stars in an unforgettable two-day intensive designed for youth and teen performers who are serious about taking their skills to the next level. Students will study with Broadway performers, casting directors, choreographers, musical directors, and teaching artists while participating in professional-level training across musical theatre, film and television, dance, and audition technique.

Ages: 9–19 (students are grouped by age)
Location: Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor (between 36th & 37th Streets)
Tuition: $575

Students will be placed into small groups based on age to ensure individualized coaching and a supportive learning environment. Throughout the weekend, each student will participate in core classes including:

• Musical Theatre Performance & Song Interpretation
• Film & Television Audition Technique
• Dance
• Improv
• Voice-Over

Over the course of the intensive, students will receive personalized coaching and feedback in every class while developing the skills needed to become stronger, more versatile performers. The weekend concludes with a mock audition for New York casting directors and other industry professionals, giving students the opportunity to apply everything they’ve learned in a professional audition setting.

In addition to the core curriculum, students will participate in exclusive masterclasses and Q&A sessions with Broadway performers, casting directors, choreographers, and musical directors. Broadway Workshop’s faculty is made up of working industry professionals who bring current, real-world experience from Broadway, television, film, and the audition room into every class.

Enrollment is limited to 40 students to maximize individual attention.

What to Bring

• Two (2) contrasting musical theatre song selections in the correct key. Sheet music should be three-hole punched and placed in a binder.
• Lunch and water each day. Broadway Workshop will provide additional nut-free snacks throughout the weekend.

Who Should Attend?

This intensive is designed for students with a serious interest in pursuing training in the performing arts. Participants should have prior experience in school, community, pre-professional, or professional theatre and be ready for a fast-paced weekend of professional-level coaching.
