Advanced Musical Theater Performance – 4 Week Workshop for students ages 13-19.

Students will work with Broadway guest teacher and a professional musical director on musical theater song material in this special 4 week workshop.
Our guest teachers will work with students on how to approach material and help sharpen their audition/performance skills, understand direction and adjustments, make strong choices, relax and most of all have confidence in their performances.
Students will bring their “audition book” to session 1 and get feedback on their current musical choices. Additional song suggestions will be given to each student to help them find songs that will help them round out the material they currently have and allow them to stretch in new directions.
Through their class work, students will find ways to gain a deeper connection to their musical material and leave lasting impressions at auditions, in classes and in performance.
In the final class we will be joined by an industry guest who will give feedback to students on their work. Following the class performances, our industry guest will be part of an interactive Q&A and discussion about the business, best practices for online and live auditions, and helpful resources to help our students move forward.
Open to 10 students. This is an advance level class. Students registering for this program should be prepared for honest feedback and as well as professional level coaching from our guest teachers.
This class will be lead by Krystina Alabado who’s Broadway/National Tour credits include: Mean Girls, American Psycho, American Idiot, Spring Awakening, and Evita.
