Marc is the founder and director of Broadway Workshop as well as the founder of Project Broadway,  501(C)3 offering scholarship opportunities for students in the New York area. Marc created Broadway Events, a company that offers corporate clients high level Broadway entertainment experiences.

Marc served as the Dialogue/Acting Coach for the Disney film, “Better Nate than Ever,” directed by Tim Federle and starring Lisa Kudrow, Rueby Wood, Aria Brooks, Norbert Leo Butz and Joshua Bassett.

His theatrical directing credits include: Clue, Waitress (John W. Engeman Theater), Jekyll and Hyde, Dreamgirls, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (White Plains Performing Arts Center), The Secret Garden, School of Rock, Over the Rainbow (Virginia Musical Theater), The Marvelous Wonderettes, Over the Tavern (Big Arts), I Love My Wife (ODTC), Ship Happens (McCarter Theater/Princeton University), A Year with Frog and Toad, The Wizard of Oz, and Cinderella (Saint Michael’s Playhouse).  For Broadway Workshop, Marc has directed Joseph…, Head Over Heels, Urinetown, Sister Act, Sweet Charity, Bring it On, Cabaret, Pippin, Carrie, Legally Blonde, Xanadu, & The Little Mermaid.

Marc’s associate directing credits include Jesus Christ Superstar starring Cynthia Erivo at the Hollywood Bowl and the upcoming pre-Broadway revival of Damn Yankees at Arena Stage—both directed by Tony Award winner Sergio Trujillo.

Marc has directed and co-written the cabaret acts for multiple Broadway stars including; Andrew Barth Feldman, Micaela Diamond, Farah Alvin, Uzo Aduba, Brandi Burkhardt, Scarlett Strallen, Erika Henningsen and is the BroadwayWorld award winner for Best Cabaret Director of 2022.

Marc adapted the book & lyrics as well as directed the developmental workshop productions of the school editions of Zombie Prom (Samuel French), Flight of the Lawnchair Man, Curtains, All Shook Up, Spamalot, The Addams Family, Wind in the Willows, and We Will Rock You (Theatrical Rights Worldwide), and Emma!, Cyrano, Beat Bugs, and Head Over Heels (Broadway Licensing/Playscripts). He collaborated with the original creative team of The Secret Garden to develop the Spring Version of the show. He is also the book writer and director of the TYA touring production My Town: The NEW George M. Cohan Musical and has directed Irving Berlin’s Land That I Love and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown for Inside Broadway, where he serves as Artistic Advisor.

A sought-after educator, Marc has taught musical theater and acting workshops across the globe with organizations including the British Theatre Academy, Explore America, Travel Adventures, Arts for All, Hands on Broadway, The Governor’s School for the Arts, Wagner College, and Dodger Theatricals. He has served as Drama Director at South Shore Dance Theater, Resident Director at Random Farms Kids Theater, and Program Director for Playhouse Junior at Saint Michael’s College.

Considered one of New York’s leading youth acting coaches, over 80 of Marc’s students have appeared on Broadway in productions including Maybe Happy Ending, Boop!, Smash!, & Juliet, Pirates!, Elf, Hell’s Kitchen, Illinoise, Tommy, Parade, Hadestown, Six, Dear Evan Hansen, Some Like It Hot, Mean Girls, Mrs. Doubtfire, West Side Story, The Cher Show, Beetlejuice, School of Rock, Anastasia, Fun Home, Annie, Matilda, Kinky Boots, Newsies, Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, People in the Picture, Fish in the Dark, Evita, Shrek the Musical, The Color Purple, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Les Misérables, as well as in many major TV and film projects.

Marc began his career as an actor, performing as “Eugene” in Neil Simon’s Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues, and Broadway Bound in theaters across the U.S. Additional credits include “Yonkers” in Gypsy (starring Patti LuPone), The Santaland Diaries, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Dames at Sea, Lost in Yonkers, Into the Woods, Torch Song Trilogy, Oklahoma!, Oliver!, Shenandoah, The Dresser, Big River, Rags, Crazy for You, The Pirates of Penzance, and the hit Off-Broadway productions of The Snow Queen and Bring Back Birdie. He also appeared in the all-star concerts of Children of Eden, The Secret Garden, and Pippin. Film/TV credits include The Sopranos and A Beautiful Mind (directed by Ron Howard).

Marc served as the host for 20 episodes of Broadway Workshop Master Class for Broadway on Demand and is the host of LITTLE ME: Growing Up Broadway for the Broadway Podcast Network. Proud member of Stage Directors and Choreographers Society (SDC).
