Broadway Workshop

We are thrilled to welcome for the first time JILL PETTIGREW from FOX CASTING, one of NYC’s top network TV casting offices! Jill will be joined by Broadway Workshop’s JOY SUPRANO!

Students will begin this class working on camera with JOY SUPRANO, Joy is a graduate of world renowned Juilliard School and has appeared on Law & Order: CI, How To Make It In America, Law & Order: SVU, and Royal Pains on USA Network.

Joy will focus on how to break down sides for film and TV auditions. Then students will work on-camera with JILL PETTIGREW from FOX CASTING who’s current and past credits include; 24: LEGACY, The Gifted, Empire, LA to VEGAS, The Resident, Orville, The Exorcist, Ghosted, and 911. Students will have the opportunity to work on scenes and sides from her current and past projects! Each student will receive feedback and coaching to help bring their performances to the next level. Joy and Jill will share their special insight on what students can do to pop on camera and have more successful on camera auditions and self tapes.

Scenes/Sides will be emailed the week of your class. Students will need a photo (snapshots or school photos are fine!) and resume for this class.

More on special guest teacher JILL PETTIGREW – Jill is currently the Casting Associate at FOX Casting. Jill Pettigrew is the casting associate of a major network, working on numerous projects and pilots. Projects at the network have included 24: LEGACY, The Gifted, Empire, LA to VEGAS, The Resident, Orville, The Exorcist, Ghosted, and 911.Previously, Jill was working at Cody Beke Casting where her credits include season 3 of Broad City for Comedy Central, season 1 of Master of None for Netflix, both seasons of The Jim Gaffigan Show for TV Land and seasons 1 & 2 of Difficult People for Hulu.Prior to that, Jill’s also had the pleasure of working as the casting assistant at Casting Collective, casting assistant to Maribeth Fox and Laura Rosenthal on the TNT pilot PUBLIC MORALS starring Edward Burns, and the assistant casting director to Alison Goodman for casting All My Children andOne Life to Live for Prospect Park Productions for HULU.
