Join us for our only two day college audition intensive of the season!
The focus of this TWO-DAY College Audition intensive is to find the best possible material to showcase each student as well as give both parents and students the opportunity to ask important questions and gain insight into this really challenging process. This special weekend will include a private Q&A session with faculty members at PACE University and Boston Conservatory
Ages: 16 – 19 (High School Juniors & Seniors ONLY)
Dates & Times:
Saturday October 21 – 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Sunday October 22 – 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Location: Ripley Grier Studios – 520 Eighth Ave – 16th Floor
During the first day of this intensive, we will help you navigate the difficult world of choosing the right schools and help put a plan into action to put together the most polished, professional and personal auditions possible. Each student will receive honest feedback from our college coaches who will make sure your acting and vocal pieces will work for you and show you off in the best light. We will also offer students alternate options regarding songs and monologues.
Our college coaching team for this weekend event includes: Joy Suprano who is a graduate of the famed Juilliard School acting department and has appeared in multiple films and on many TV series, Jenni Barber who is a graduate of the University of Michigan (BFA Musical Theatre) and has appeared on Broadway in Sunday in the Park with George, Annie, Spelling Bee and Wicked, Benjamin Rauhala who served as the associate musical director for Fiddler on the Roof, American Psycho and Pippin on Broadway, and Marc Tumminelli who is the director of Broadway Workshop.
In day 2 of this intensive, Students and Parents will be invited to private talk back and question session with the Broadway Workshop College Coaching Staff and Amy Rogers from PACE University and Michelle Chassé from Boston Consevatory at Berklee. Following this Q&A, students will have a mock audition for our coaching panel. Students will not perform their audition material for our college representatives as the goal of this weekend intensive is to make sure each students material is ready for their college auditions.
