Class Description:
Our JR musical Theater Performance class focuses on how to better approach material, sharpen audition & performance skills, understand direction and adjustments, make strong choices, relax, and most of all, have confidence on stage and off. This class is designed to help unlock imagination and overcome inhibitions. This is an amazing class for students who are ready for the next stage of their training.

In each class session, students will work on a musical production number that will feature each student as well as short solo vocal selections. Students will be paired up to work on scenes from Broadway’s biggest hit musicals and TV/Film scripts from Disney and Nickelodeon projects.

Each Class begins with a physical and vocal warmup to best set the group up for success. Students will also spend time building on their technique using improv/theatre games to round out the full theater experience. Each week builds on the previous session and allows our students to dive further into their work and help create a more solid training ground. This class will culminate in a small performance for parents and friends and a few industry guests. There is no audition required for this class.

ALL LEVELS ARE WELCOME. This class will be taught by a Broadway performer as well as a professional musical director. limited to only 10 students.

This class will be lead by Allan K. Washington from the Broadway casts of Spongebob Sqaurepants and Once on this Island and musical directed by Sarah Statler most recently part of the National Tour of Anastasia
