Broadway Workshop’s most popular program is back for a special TWO-DAY WINTER installment. Students will be split up into smaller groups by age for the Winter Excel program. Each day students will participate in master classes in song interpretation/musical theatre performance, film/television audition preparation, and dance, making up their core schedule.
Over the course of this two-day workshop, our goal is to immerse each student in ALL aspects of musical theatre, film, and television performance and help them build on their skills to help them become true triple threats. Each student will receive personal coaching and feedback in every class session. This program culminates in a mock audition workshop for Broadway casting offices and other industry professionals.
In addition to the core classes, students will have special guest workshops with top casting directors, Broadway actors, musical directors and choreographers. All Broadway Workshop’s WINTER EXCEL teachers are highly-regarded professional actors and teaching artists who have starred on Broadway, and on television and film.
As with any Broadway Workshop program, we can assure you that the faculty for this program will be composed of incredible theatre artists who are excited to share their passion with our students!
This program is limited to 40 students. Students will be separated by age for classes and workshops.

Each WINTER EXCEL Student will need:
- Two (2) musical theatre song selections in the correct key (music should be three-hole punched and in a binder)
- Two (2) headshots and resumes for our industry guests (school photos and snapshots are fine)
- Clothes for movement workshops
- Students should bring lunch/water each day- Broadway Workshop will provide additional nut-free snacks throughout the program
STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE WINTER EXCEL INTENSIVE should have professional high interest in the performing arts and have prior experience in school, community or professional theatre.
