We received such wonderful feedback from her first masterclass with us, we are so excited to be able to offer another and for our students the opportunity to work Emma!
Emma Pittman is currently starring on Broadway in the hit Musical, The Outsiders as Cherry Valance and was previously seen on Broadway in Back to the Future and Chicago as Roxie Hart. Emma, along with Broadway Workshop’s musical director will work with each student on audition technique and song interpretation in this special one-day master class. We will focus on giving students the opportunity to bring their audition and performance skills to the next level. Students will break down their song material with one-on-one coaching in a fun-filled class setting. Students will also have the opportunity to be part of a Q&A with Emma and the Broadway Workshop team.
Students will need sheet music for 1 or 2 musical theater or pop/rock audition songs in the correct key for this workshop. We will only be focusing on ONE 16/32 bar musical cut in this class. Accompanist/Musical Director will be provided. Students can sing anything that brings them joy and that they feel comfortable singing! Students will not need a photo/resume for this class.

MORE ON OUR GUEST TEACHER: Emma Pittman
EMMA PITTMAN is currently starring in the Tony Award Winning Best Musical, THE OUTSIDERS playing Cherry Valance. Emma made her Broadway debut in CHICAGO after winning “The Search for Roxie Hart” in which she auditioned for and was mentored by Ann Reinking. Emma was also a part of the Original Broadway Cast of BACK TO THE FUTURE. She has had the pleasure of performing such roles as Lola in Damn Yankees and Janet in The Drowsy Chaperone. Emma received her degree from Wagner College. In addition to being a performer, Emma is a teaching artist, director and choreographer whose choreography credits include: On the Twentieth Century, The Cradle Will Rock, and Into The Woods.
